Historic Katy Christmas Tree Lighting - 2nd Annual

🎄 A Katy Christmas Tradition Continues at The Dryer!

For decades, the Christmas tree atop the historic JV Cardiff Rice Dryer welcomed people home to Katy during the holidays. In 2025, its lights shone again for the first time since 1999. Now, we invite you to help keep this special tradition glowing!

Join us on December 2, 2027, from 7–9 PM for our Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Gather with family, friends, and neighbors as we count down together and watch the tree illuminate the sky above one of Katy’s most recognizable landmarks.

Browse our vendors, meet the sponsors helping make this celebration possible, and enjoy an evening of holiday spirit in the heart of Old Katy. Whether you remember the lights from years ago or are seeing them for the first time, come be part of the tradition.
