About this event

Old Katy Farmers Market is a weekly outdoor market at The Dryer, set beneath Katy’s historic rice-dryer silos. It brings together local farmers, ranchers, bakers, food producers, and artisans in a setting connected to Katy’s agricultural history.

  • When: Every Saturday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m., year-round, rain or shine.

  • Admission: Free, with a pet-friendly and wheelchair-accessible setting

At the farmers market you will find seasonal vegetables and fruit, farm eggs, meats, dairy, honey, sourdough bread, pastries, jams, pickles, salsa, coffee, plants, and handmade goods. The emphasis is on fresh, locally grown and locally made products; selection changes with the season and participating vendors.

Will the train run during the market?

Yes, we start the market at 9am but we do not run the train until 10am. The rideable train runs from 10am - 12:45pm.
