Traditional farmers market in Old Katy
Fresh & wholesome
Bringing back the traditional fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, dairy and baked goods: locally grown, locally harvested.

Fresh vegetables
Locally grown fresh vegetables such as carrots, cabbages, lettuce, kale, potatoes, onions, cauliflowers, green beans and okras.

Fresh eggs
Farm fresh eggs from local, pasture-raised hens: brown, white and blue, collected days, not weeks, before market day.

Fresh fruits
Locally grown fruits such as apples, oranges, blueberries and strawberries.

Fresh meats
Farm-to-table beef, pasture-raised chicken and other local meats: no antibiotics, grass-fed, from ranchers who raise what they sell. Plus honey, preserves, coffee, baked goods and plants.
During the market, Saturdays 9 AM – 1 PM
Ride "The Katy" train
While you shop, the kids (and the grown-ups) can ride "The Katy": a replica engine with passenger cars on 900 feet of 7.5-inch gauge track that loops around the rice dryer. It runs on Saturdays, 9 AM to 1 PM, during the market.
- $3 per ride plus tax, per person; kids and adults alike.
- Tickets are sold online; show the ticket on your phone to the conductor.
- Board at the train yard, right next to the market lawn.
